This policy explains what Thrift Wallet sells, how we describe it, what we do and do not claim about brands, and how owners of trademarks and other intellectual property can contact us. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By browsing or buying from Thrift Wallet on our website, social media, WhatsApp or any other channel, you confirm that you have read and understood it.
1. Who we are and what we sell
Thrift Wallet is an independent reseller of pre-owned, thrifted, surplus and vintage clothing, operated by Vaibhav Jitendra Vyas from Palghar, Maharashtra, India. We buy used and surplus garments in bulk from second-hand markets, export surplus lots and vintage suppliers, then sort, clean, photograph and resell them individually. Almost every item we sell is a single, one-of-one piece.
We are not a brand store, an authorised dealer, a licensee or an official merchandise seller for any brand, sports club, league, team, film, television, music or entertainment property, company or person.
2. No authentication and no claim of authenticity
- Because our stock is sourced second-hand and in bulk, we do not authenticate items and we are not able to confirm the origin or manufacturer of any item.
- Thrift Wallet makes no claim, promise or guarantee that any item is original, genuine, licensed, officially produced, or manufactured or approved by any brand, club, league, team, company or person.
- Nothing on our website, product pages, photos, social media posts, stories, reels, messages or packaging should be read as such a claim.
- If you need a guaranteed-original or officially licensed product, please buy it from the brand's or rights-holder's official store or authorised retailers.
3. How we name and describe items
- Our product titles and descriptions are written to describe an item's type, style, colour, sport, era, size, measurements and condition so you can decide whether you want it.
- Where a product title, description, tag, collection or post mentions the name of a brand, club, league, team, player, character, company or place, that name is used only to describe the visible design, print or label of the pre-owned item as we received it. It is not a statement that the item is original, licensed or connected to that name's owner.
- We are progressively updating our listings to use generic, descriptive titles (for example "Vintage White Football Jersey, Navy Trim") instead of third-party names.
4. Logos, crests, prints and designs on items
Many garments carry names, logos, crests, badges, numbers, sponsor marks, artwork or characters that were already on the item when we acquired it. We photograph items honestly and in full, so these features may be visible in our photos. They are shown only so you can see exactly what you are buying. We do not add, alter or reproduce any third-party logo or design, and we do not use third-party logos in our own branding, graphics or advertising.
5. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement
Thrift Wallet is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or connected to any brand, sports club, league, team, athlete, entertainment company or other rights-holder whose name or mark may appear on an item or in a description. All trademarks, logos, names and designs belong to their respective owners.
6. Pricing
Our prices reflect the condition, age, rarity and second-hand nature of each individual item and our sourcing and handling costs. They do not reflect, and are not based on, the value or retail price of any brand. A low price is not an indication that an item is original, and a higher price is not an indication that it is.
7. What you acknowledge when you buy
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that:
- you are buying a pre-owned or surplus item sold "as is" on the basis of its photos, measurements and written condition;
- Thrift Wallet has not represented the item as original, licensed or officially produced;
- any brand, club, league, team or character name or mark on the item does not mean Thrift Wallet or the item is connected to its owner; and
- if you resell an item bought from us, you will not describe or advertise it as original, authentic or officially licensed on the basis of anything Thrift Wallet has said or shown.
Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.
8. Our commitments
- We respect intellectual property rights and want to resolve any concern quickly and cooperatively.
- We do not knowingly sell items that we know to be counterfeit, and we do not describe any item as original, authentic, official or licensed.
- We do not use disguised or deliberately misspelled brand names, and we are removing any such wording from older listings.
- We do not use third-party trademarks, logos or crests in our store name, logo, advertising creatives or promotional graphics.
- We act promptly on complaints from rights-holders, marketplaces, platforms and authorities, as set out below.
9. For rights-holders: how to raise a concern
If you own a trademark, copyright or other intellectual property right (or are authorised to act for the owner) and believe a listing, image or post by Thrift Wallet uses it improperly, please contact us directly. We aim to resolve concerns without the need for platform complaints or legal proceedings.

Please include:
- Your full name, company, postal address, email and phone number;
- The right you own or represent (for example the trademark and its registration number and country/office);
- The link(s) to each listing, image or post concerned;
- A short explanation of your concern; and
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
10. What happens after we receive a notice
- Acknowledgement: we will acknowledge a notice within 48 hours.
- Removal: where a notice is complete and the concern is reasonable, we will remove or disable the listing(s) concerned within 3 working days while we review it.
- Review: we may contact you for more information. Depending on the outcome, we may keep the listing removed, re-describe it using generic terms, or restore it.
- Similar listings: once a rights-holder has raised a concern, we will review our other listings that use the same name or mark and update or remove them where appropriate.
- Records: we keep a record of each notice and the action taken.
Removing or editing a listing is done in good faith and as a courtesy; it is not an admission of infringement, liability or wrongdoing by Thrift Wallet.
11. Notices received through platforms
Our store is hosted on Shopify and we also use social media and marketplace platforms. If a complaint about our content is raised through any of these platforms, we will cooperate with the platform's process and timelines, which may be in addition to the steps above.
12. Customer questions about brands or authenticity
If you have a question about an item's label, markings or condition before you buy, message us at thriftwallet04@gmail.com or on Instagram @thrift_wallet_ and we will share any additional photos we can. We will describe what we can see; we will not certify authenticity.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above shows when it was last changed. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
