Thrift Wallet is one of the very few thrift stores in India that lets you exchange. Every piece is one of one, measured by hand in inches. If it still doesn't sit right, send it back and get its full value as store credit to pick any other piece.
How it works
- Request within 48 hours of delivery on thriftwallet.in/pages/start-exchange. Pick the piece(s), tell us what went wrong, and tick "I understand this is store credit only".
- We confirm within 24 hours on email or WhatsApp and book a pickup from your address (usually within 2–4 days).
- Quick check at our warehouse (1–2 days after it reaches us).
- Store credit lands in your Thrift Wallet account — the full price you paid for the piece. Use it on any piece within 90 days.
The rules, simply
- Store credit only. Exchanges never go back to your bank, card or UPI.
- 48 hours from delivery to request. After that, we can't accept it.
- Up to 2 pieces per exchange, total weight up to 1 kg — whichever limit comes first (2 pieces weighing more than 1 kg → 1 piece).
- Unworn, unwashed, as it arrived, with the TW tag/seal if it had one.
- Your first exchange is free. After your free exchange(s), the actual to-and-fro shipping is deducted from your credit (minimum ₹250, usually about ₹300). You'll see the amount before pickup.
- Spend more, get more free exchanges every year: Member (first order) 1 · Regular (2+ orders) 1 a year · Insider (₹5,000+ spent) 2 a year · Collector (₹10,000+) 3 a year · 20K Club (₹20,000+) 5 a year.
What can't be exchanged
- Pieces from the Archive / clearance (already marked down), and free gifts.
- Pieces that show wear, washing, stains, perfume or smoke — they're sent back to you and no credit is issued.
- Requests made after 48 hours from delivery.
Good to know
- Our mistake is always free. Wrong piece sent, or a defect we didn't show or mention? Request it the same way and WhatsApp us 2 photos — no fee, and it doesn't use up your free exchanges.
- Every piece is one of one. We can't hold another piece for you while your exchange is on its way. Once your credit lands, pick anything that's still available.
- Credit is valid 90 days from the day it's issued. We'll remind you before it expires.
- Bought with a deal (Buy 2 Get 1, Buy 1 Get 1, a code)? Your credit is what you actually paid for that piece after the deal. The free piece in a deal is credited at ₹0.
- Repeated exchanges that look like rentals (worn and sent back) may lose exchange access.
Get your size right the first time
Lay a piece you love flat, measure chest (armpit to armpit × 2), length and sleeves, and compare with the inches on the product page. That's the quickest way to a perfect fit.
