Overview

This website, thriftwallet.in, and the Thrift Wallet social media, WhatsApp and direct-sales channels are owned and operated by Vaibhav Jitendra Vyas, trading under the brand name "Thrift Wallet" ("Thrift Wallet", "we", "us", "our"), from Warehouse No. 2, Lucky Complex (last building, opposite PK Packaging), Bharwad Pada, Bidco Road, Amba Wadi, Palghar West, Palghar, Maharashtra 401404, India (Landmark: near Spenta International Ltd.).

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to everyone who browses, buys from or otherwise uses our website or channels ("you"). By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies they refer to: our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and Brand & Intellectual Property Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order. Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform we use.

1. Eligibility

By using this site you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract, or that you are using it under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree not to use our products or services for any unlawful purpose.

2. Nature of our products

  • Thrift Wallet is an independent reseller of pre-owned, thrifted, surplus and vintage clothing and accessories. Items are not new unless a listing clearly says so.
  • Items may show signs of previous use and ageing, including fading, wear, pilling, storage marks, stretched fabric, cracked or faded prints and stickers, and minor defects. We aim to show or mention notable flaws, but normal wear consistent with an item's age is not a defect.
  • Most items are one-of-one. Once sold, the same item cannot be replaced.
  • Items are sold on the basis of the actual garment measurements in inches shown on each listing, not the size printed on the label.
  • All items are sold "as is", subject to your rights under our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy and applicable law.

3. Brands, trademarks and authenticity

  • Our stock is sourced second-hand and in bulk. We do not authenticate items and we make no claim that any item is original, genuine, licensed, or manufactured or approved by any brand, club, league, team, company or person.
  • Any names, logos, crests, numbers, sponsor marks or artwork on an item were already on it when we acquired it. They are shown in our photos only so you can see exactly what you are buying.
  • Where a listing mentions a brand, club, league, team, player, character or company name, it does so only to describe the visible design or label of the pre-owned item, not to claim a connection with, or approval from, its owner.
  • Thrift Wallet is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any such rights-holder. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
  • Prices reflect the condition and second-hand nature of each item, not the value of any brand.
  • If you resell an item bought from us, you must not describe or advertise it as original, authentic or officially licensed on the basis of anything Thrift Wallet has said or shown.
  • Rights-holders can raise concerns through our Brand & Intellectual Property Policy. We act on complete notices promptly and in good faith.

4. Product information, photos and colours

We photograph each item individually and try to describe it accurately. Colours may look different depending on lighting and your screen, and measurements are taken by hand and may vary slightly. Condition ratings (for example "9/10") are our honest judgement for a used item, not a manufacturer's grade. If you need more photos or details before buying, please contact us.

5. Prices and errors

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices and offers may change without notice, but a change will not affect an order we have already confirmed. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price or with incorrect information because of a clear error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount you have paid for it in full.

6. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch. Because most items are single pieces, an item may occasionally sell on another channel at the same time; if we cannot fulfil your order for this or any other reason, we will cancel it and refund any amount you have paid for that item in full. We may refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, abusive or placed for commercial resale in breach of these Terms.

7. Payment and Cash on Delivery

  • We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways; we do not store your full card details.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders we may require an advance payment before dispatch. The amount depends on order value, delivery location and logistics factors and will be communicated to you before you pay it. It helps cover courier costs we incur if a parcel is refused or returned. How the advance is treated is set out in our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy and Shipping Policy.

8. Shipping and delivery

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on courier partners. Please provide a complete address and a reachable phone number.

9. Returns, refunds and exchanges

Returns, refunds, exchanges and cancellations are governed by our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before ordering.

10. Offers, discounts and loyalty points

Discount codes, sales, bargaining offers and loyalty points are subject to the terms shown with each offer. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or combined unless stated, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time without affecting orders already placed. We may cancel benefits obtained through misuse, multiple accounts or fraud.

11. Reviews, messages and content you share

If you send us reviews, photos, videos, comments or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is not unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing. You allow us to use, reproduce and publish it (with your name or social handle) in connection with our business, without payment. We may remove any content at our discretion.

12. Prohibited uses

You must not use the site to: break any law; infringe anyone's rights; submit false or misleading information; interfere with the site's security or operation; scrape, copy or collect data or product images without our written permission; place fraudulent orders; or harass our team or other customers.

13. Our content

The Thrift Wallet name and logo, and our own photographs, videos, text, graphics and site design, belong to Thrift Wallet. You may not copy, reuse or sell them without our written permission. This does not give us, or claim, any ownership of third-party trademarks or designs that appear on items we sell.

14. Third-party tools and links

The site may include third-party tools, apps and links (for example payment, tracking, chat, reviews and social media). We are not responsible for third-party content, services or policies, and you use them at your own discretion.

15. Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and our policies, and to the extent permitted by law, the site and items are provided without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, authenticity or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thrift Wallet's total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Thrift Wallet against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your resale or description of any item in breach of Section 3.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month of receipt. For order and delivery help, please first contact customer support at thriftwallet04@gmail.com.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Palghar, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site.

20. General

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the policies referred to above, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the site and replace any earlier terms.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
